Railroad connection: My uncle (mother's brother) worked as an electrician in the ATSF shops in Winslow. He frequently stated that he wanted to take me (I was a teenager at the time) for a cab ride to Seligman, where we would eat at the Black Cat Cafe, then return on the next available train. My mother would never permit this to happen, so I never got the lengthy, mountainous cab ride (or to eat at the Black Cat, either)!
