STRATEGIC PLAN

  1. We are committed to uniting a broader community of accepting, loving, inclusive and tolerant people.
     
    Goals:
    1. Increase awareness and acceptance of human diversity within the congregation.
    2. Encourage individual spiritual growth.
    3. Provide diverse opportunities for fellowship.
    4. Provide enriching and engaging worship.
    5. Provide diverse opportunities for quality Christian education for all age groups.
    6. Insure appropriate pastoral care within the congregation.

    Responsibility of rector, wardens and vestry.
     
  2. We are committed to increasing awareness and understanding of the Episcopal Church in Duncan.
     
    Goals:
    1. Submit weekly articles and fund appropriate advertising in the "Duncan Banner".
    2. Train parishioners to better represent the Episcopal Church publicly.
    3. Sponsor a yearly high profile community event.
    4. Promote a periodic instructed Eucharist.

    Responsibility of the Communications Task Force.
     
  3. We are committed to growth in membership and financial resources.
     
    Goals:
    1. Promote small group gatherings in homes as a tool to invite newcomers.
    2. Provide a yearly open house for the community.
    3. Establish a monthly Sunday morning community lunch.
    4. Hold a yearly stewardship drive.
    5. Promote planned giving to the trust.
    6. Sell west stained glass windows as gift opportunities.

    Responsibility of Vestry Committees.
